Rooted within Traditional Chinese Medicine, fire cupping uses a flame to create both heat and a vacuum in a glass bowl which holds to the skin and uplifts the tissue underneath. This can be very relaxing or a little more intense depending on what the client needs from the session.
In TCM, blood is very vital to the wellness of the body as it carries Qi to all the other systems. Fire cupping can identify imbalances of the circulatory system to encourage rebalancing of the energetic systems. It also lifts to stretch and hydrate the connective tissues of the body, often allowing you to feel more open and free moving after treatment.
