One of the older practices of yoga, this practice is a really lovely space to meet yourself with tradition and familiarity. We begin with rounds of classical Surya Namaskar (sun salutations) in order to awaken the body and connect into breath, followed by longer held poses where alignment becomes key, settling in for the body to learn it’s strength.

The focus on asana or posture, gives time to learn internal feeling (interoception) and self adjustment (proprioception), as a slower practice it also makes it ideal for those wanting to start yoga, while adding challenge of stillness and focus.
